Health Center Funding is Renewed for Two Years
HEALTH CENTER FUNDING CLIFF
In the early hours of February 9th, 2018, the Senate and House passed a budget deal which includes two years of funding for Community Health Centers, teaching health centers, and the National Health Service Corps programs which has been signed by the President. The deal includes $90 billion for disaster relieve, $6 billion to address the opioid crisis, an additional four-year extension for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and more than $7 billion for Community Health Centers.
